CITIZEN elected supplier of the year

When choosing a supplier “THE BEST! Jewellers evaluate their suppliers” CITIZEN was voted best in five categories. Nearly 500 jewelers from Germany and Austria, mostly readers of the trade journals “Blickpunkt Juwelier” and “DERJUWELIER.at” took part in the supplier selection process and provided a total of 25,527 responses, of which 8,535 were supplier recommendations. For the jewelers these companies are the subjective favorites, or simply: “the best”! In total, the winners were chosen from 38 categories. CITIZEN received the awards in the categories “favourite supplier”, “favourite supplier watches”, “watches from 100 to 250 euros”, “watches from 250 to 500 euros” and “watches from 500 to 1,000 euros”. This success is based on the good cooperation of our manufacturer in Japan, the responsible team in Hamburg and the sales representatives and trading partners directly on site. The continuous development of European business activities has allowed CITIZEN WATCH EUROPE GmbH in Hamburg to grow into a strong location in Europe. Our concept is characterised by four central strengths: Innovative watch technologies, which are continuously being developed in line with our motto “Better Starts Now”. The processing of particularly demanding materials, such as titanium, which is turned into Super TitaniumTM by our proprietary surface hardening technology Duratect. A strong awareness of the environment with its natural resources, which gave us the idea to create and use our Eco-Drive light drive, as well as fair and cooperative relationships with our trade partners.
